Initially established in 1933 as Riley Dodds (Australia) to provide steam generation solutions for the Australian market and beyond, we later became Clyde Riley Dodds (C-RD) as part of Clyde Industries. We finally evolved into Clyde Babcock Hitachi in 1990 as a joint venture enterprise between Babcock-Hitachi KK (boiler division of Hitachi) and Clyde Industries. This started our expansion into the maintenance and overhaul sector with further diversification of our services.
Today, we have 180 permanent employees, as well as a long-term casual workforce of up to 800 additional staff.
